Emerging Leaders Program

The ACS National HPV Vaccination Roundtable Emerging Leaders Program was a year-long leadership development initiative designed for early-career professionals dedicated to advancing HPV vaccination and cancer prevention efforts.

Through collaboration with experts across the HPV prevention community, engagement with national organizations, and mentorship from National HPV Vaccination Roundtable leaders and staff, fellows developed the skills, knowledge, and professional practices needed to strengthen their leadership abilities and drive meaningful impact.

Launched in 2023, the program offered unique opportunities to expand professional networks, enhance leadership competencies, and contribute to innovative strategies that advanced HPV vaccination best practices, education, and outreach.

Through their projects, partnerships, and leadership development experiences, fellows became emerging champions for HPV vaccination, helping to advance collective efforts toward HPV cancer prevention and ultimately, cancer elimination.
